Resin Bear was born out of necessity. I’m a parent of two young boys, both of whom struggle with sensitive skin. We tried countless “sensitive skin” products, but nothing worked — every bath still had to be followed with thick layers of eczema lotion. Frustrated, I decided to go back to basics. I started making simple, earth-sourced bar soap for them. Within a few weeks, their skin had cleared up — no more post-bath lotion. Just clean, healthy skin. It was a turning point. After seeing the difference in my boys, I turned my attention to something for myself: beard care, the first product we design at Resine Bear!

I’ve always disliked the overpowering, artificial scents found in most beard products. Many of those synthetic fragrances aren’t just unpleasant — they can be harmful. Some compounds used in "fragrance" formulas can absorb into your skin and disrupt your body’s natural hormone balance. And because companies aren’t required to disclose what’s inside their fragrance blends, you never really know what you're putting on your body. why I created our Beard Putty — made only with plant-based oils and butters, and scented with real botanicals, not lab-made chemicals.
